Alex walked into her room again, this place was gray and drab, nothing really interesting. All her important things were at home, which was a little silly, considering this secret base could withstand a nuclear blast.
Sitting down on her bed again, she wondered what she should say to Vala. Vala and Daniel, Alex's father, had been connected for a while now, which seriously annoyed Daniel. Alex, of course, wasn't all that comfortable with it either.
Everytime Daniel went off world, Vala had to go with him, and he wasn't around the house much lately, because most of the time he was on the base with Vala.
This was really starting to annoy Alex, who didn't like the former goa'uld host either, but she knew that she'd just have to get used to her.
Hopefully, however, Daniel wouldn't take Vala to the house, that could be disaterous, considering what valuables they have stored there. That is in case she thinks she can pawn off priceless artifacts somewhere.
Alex picked up her laptop and started typing, trying to take her mind off the unusual relationship the three shared.

He knocked quietly on the door, "You decent?"
"I don't want any", the familiar voice from within teased, opening the door.
Daniel smiled at his daughter, she was getting older, but at the correct rate, no more accelerated growth for her, "I was wondering if you wanted to catch some supper?"
"I'm not going fishing again with Jack", she teased, shutting down her laptop before joining him.
The two of them walked down to the Mess Hall.
